Strategy

Use reaching start to create congestion at the windward (offset) and leeward marks. Pin should be slightly ahead to favor the leeward boat. Downwind leg should be very short. Emphasize zone, overlap, pinwheel, wide/tight concepts. Combine with weight-balance, steering, trimming techniques. Return to start/finish should be single tack to clarify winner.
