Sail Camp Staff

Thank you for your interest in working at Sail Camp! Here you will find links to application forms and general information for the positions we have open.

The general procedure is to read the application, fill in the information and return it to the Sail Camp Director. The medical information should be filled in hard copy only and brought to the Staff Orientation meeting. Minors will have to have a parent or guardian sign the waiver. Feel free to apply for multiple positions. If you would like to be considered for Head Instructor but would consider a position as a Sailing Instructor, send in both applications. If you also have Life Guard certification, just note that in your application.

Note that Staff Orientation is a two-day event (June 1-2). This will include some outboard training and a presentation of a short class on your favorite sailing topic. So come prepared with ideas.

As you know, Sail Camp is a fun, intense and growth experience for all. Lots of hard work in summer heat while maintaining a positive attitude and maturity is a challenge that the staff have always met. We have high expectations from our staff as role models and educators. Year after year, the campers enjoy the leadership and sense of fun you bring. You are the reason they return to camp. And many continue to return year after year, so evidently you’re doing a good job. We are confident you will continue to work as a team to make Sail Camp a positive experience for all!

Note that Adobe Reader will tell you that you can’t save the file after you have filled in the forms. Once you have filled in the form, you will need to print to a new PDF (new name) and save it that way.
